sleepwalker is a last project for January and recycled-item sculptures

Small persons formed of champagne bottle cork wires have fascinated me for a couple of years: I keep making them, doing their own chores, sitting on ledges and living their own lives among ours. Sleepwalker is a wire person who has somehow climbed, without knowing, on a top of an arch (constructed of copper from our old refrigerator). She is just stepping to the falling side of an arch, but is still held to her step with a tiny screw, taken from old pc keyboard. The viewer can decide what is going to happen. The base is scrap wood and it stands on wooden beads. Sleepwalker is a lonely walker, as so many of us are in this busy world. She is available for $50, inquire from Veera.
